Juventude e relações afetivas é o tema do Curso de Verão de 2015. Será abordado no horizonte da corporeidade, da espiritualidade e da sua diversidade. Indagar-se sobre o afeto e a sexualidade é tocar sempre na dimensão maior do amor humano, de sua grandeza e contradições e ser capaz de aproximar-se com respeito de suas diferentes formas de expressão e vivências, sem a ilusória pretensão de desvendar inteiramente seu mistério.
A casa do ser humano é sua corporeidade. Esta se exprime na busca por sentido mais profundo na espiritualidade e no incessante afã por tornar-se sujeito respeitado e reconhecido no seu direito à diversidade e não mero objeto na teia de relações sociais e pessoais no seio da família, dos círculos de amigos/as, no trabalho, no lazer e na aventura das escolhas amorosas.
A banalização das relações afetivas, com sua superexposição nas redes sociais; a fragilização da família; a exploração do corpo feminino na publicidade; os preconceitos e discriminações no campo da sexualidade; o inveterado machismo e patriarcalismo de nossa sociedade e o tráfico de pessoas e de órgãos humanos constituem afronta à dignidade humana, que a reflexão ética é chamada a enfrentar.
Com este tema desafiador das relações afetivas (2015), o Curso de Verão completa o triênio de estudos voltados para a juventude. Em 2013, foi abordada a temática das Redes digitais e, em 2014, Juventudes em foco, com o exame das políticas públicas inclusivas em educação, trabalho e cultura.
O Curso de Verão é um programa de formação popular no campo sócio-político-cultural, a partir da realidade e seus desafios, à luz da Bíblia, Teologia e Pastoral e do empenho na transformação da sociedade. É um espaço ecumênico e inter-religioso de convivência, partilha de vida, intercâmbio de experiências, celebração e compromisso. Com especial atenção aos jovens, acolhe participantes de todas as idades e proveniências, empenhados na busca da compreensão e respeito entre mulheres e homens, no esforço para transformar as pessoas e a sociedade, na linha da justiça, solidariedade e salvaguarda do meio ambiente.
É um curso realizado em mutirão, onde pessoas, famílias, comunidades, movimentos populares e instituições educativas e religiosas colocam-se gratuitamente a serviço de sua preparação ao longo do ano e de sua realização na PUC de São Paulo. O curso tem caráter nacional, organizado para um grande número de participantes. Oferece, ao mesmo tempo, atenção muito pessoal a cada cursista que é acolhido em grupos menores, dentro da metodologia da educação popular, que combina reflexão e criatividade, arte e celebração, vivência e compromisso.

Ana Cristina Canosa: psicóloga, terapeuta e educadora sexual; coordenadora e professora do Curso de Pós-Graduação em Educação Sexual do UNISAL.
2. Relações afetivas, sexualidade e família no horizonte da reflexão ética.
Edward Guimarães: teólogo, professor do Departamento de Ciências da Religião da PUC Minas, coordenador do CESTEP (Centro Superior de Estudos Teológicos e Pastorais).
